Cactus presents itself as an ironic totem, and embodies the grit, imagination and humor of 1970s design. Inclined to capture everyone's attention, this coat rack redeems itself from functionalism at all costs, because it can perform its function, but also be used as a cheerful decorative element. Freedom of interpretation. Cactus was born in 1972 thanks to the genius of Guido Drocco and Franco Mello, and from the beginning it has questioned the static and rigid world of interior design. Its first edition was a very deep emerald shade (sold out), and since then it has been cyclically reinterpreted according to the color and style of the moment. In 2007 it was the turn of the white version (sold out); in 2010 it was the turn of red and black.
