Designed by Gino Valle in the late 1960s, it is recognized worldwide as an icon of 20th century design, so much so that it is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York and the Science Museum in London. Today Cifra 3 is the smallest direct-reading clock with the horizontal paddle roller system patented in 1966. For over 50 years it has been Solari's stylistic hallmark.
